SACS
LSUA has been involved over the past few years in two major initiatives associated with SACS.
Reaffirmation refers to the normal evaluation process that all institutions accredited by SACS must undergo every 10 years. LSUA prepared reaffirmation materials in 2004 and was reaffirmed in June 2005. LSUA has left its reaffirmation website in a static state for historical reference and for use by other institutions preparing reaffirmation websites. Substantive Change involves obtaining approval from SACS to offer new degrees at the baccalaureate level.
